AI/ML Engineer

We’re looking for a talented AI Engineer/Researcher to create, enhance, and fine-tune intelligent features within our business workflow and approval-management platform. Ideal candidates will be based in Romania, Moldova, or Serbia or across Europe.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to research, prototype, and implement AI-driven capabilities that align with our platform’s objectives and user processes.
- Lead efforts in prompt engineering, model selection, and performance evaluation, ensuring seamless integration of AI components.
- Adapt or fine-tune existing pre-trained models for our specific domain to streamline automated business workflows.
- Develop connectors that link LLMs to APIs, databases, file storage, and other external tools.
- Train machine learning models using available documentation, contextual information, and data already in place.
- Design and build scalable pipelines for prompt generation, context retrieval, and real-time interactions with AI models.
- Implement AI solutions throughout the application stack, from backend services to user-facing features.
- Work closely with UI/UX and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, intelligent experiences.
- Monitor system performance, gather feedback from real-world usage, and iterate to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Enhance natural language processing functionalities as part of our broader AI strategy.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML projects (either in industry roles or research settings).
- Deep expertise in natural language processing, large language models, and embedding techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain).
- Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms using containerization (Docker), serverless architectures, and API integrations.
- Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows and vector search technologies.
- Skilled in crafting prompts, optimizing token usage, and employing few-shot or zero-shot learning strategies.
- Strong experimental mindset with a focus on reproducibility, benchmarking, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of microservices design and distributed systems architecture.
